点评：Oistin's Fish Market aka Oistin's Fish Fry is a MUST SEE & DO for all visitors and locals alike. Takes place each Friday. Recommend you get there by 4 p.m. so that you can take in the open market and walk out on the pier where you're sure to see sea turtles and locals diving for lobster and crab. Before heading out on the pier, I swung by the fish market and watched fishermen clean their catches and the local restauranteurs buy their fish from same. I like to grab free fish scraps, get them wrapped in newspaper and take them out to the pier to feed the sea turtles. The Oistin Fish restaurants open at 5 p.m. and serve cold beer, wine and liquor spirits. Order get taken and food starts to be served around 7 p.m. My wife tends to get the Mahi-Mahi for dinner and I love ordering the Flying Fish accompanied with macaroni pie, rice and peas, cabbage and sweet potatoes. Yum! There's a live music stage and several entertainment acts going on during the festivities. I recommend cash vs electronic payment as it makes life much easier and one is better able to negotiate prices with the local vendors. This is one event where tourists and locals attend and its a great time to talk with the locals to find out much more about beautiful Barbados than what you may read on the internet. So be sure to include Oistin's Fish Market and Fry into your Barbados itinerary. You'll be sure to have a memorable time.
