Excellent full-day private tour of Tobago

点评：While on a ten-day visit to Tobago, my partner and I decided against renting a car but instead wanted to take a guided tour of the island. Our accommodation recommended Phil, so we booked him for a full-day private tour.
He arrived at around 9:00am and we had a chat about the type of things we were interested in seeing and what we wanted to get out of the tour. In particular we wanted to see around the natural beauty of the coast, the land, and some of the wildlife. We wanted to learn about the history but were not interested in seeing old churches.
Phil put together a tour for us on the spot, covering the Northern coasts, the geological, natural and human history. We enjoyed some bird-spotting from a lay-by in the rain forest, before travelling on up to Charlotteville. After a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant in Speyside. He explained the tradition of "Harvest" while showing us the towns and villages of the Atlantic coast, and a stop at the old Scarborough fort.
He even stopped at a shop in Scarborough for us to pick up some provisions for our accommodation, before taking us back over the hills to a stunning lookout spot above Castara.
Throughout our tour of around six-hours, Phil was excellent, and generous company. He is very proud of Tobago and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
