Boat rental at Calen en Porta.
Irinsur的点评
点评：Booked through Click&Boat and was told the operator would contact us by email the morning of sailing. Nothing was received so when we arrived at the slipway we had no idea who to meet. After 20 minutes we spoke a chap wearing an Irinsur shirt showing the advert we’d booked from to be informed he was the contact.
After a brief instruction of the boat but no emergency information we were away.
We stopped at Son Bou for a drink, where we were helped into a mooring, but on return were reprimanded as apparently we shouldn’t stop there as our boat wasn’t hired from there. We were told we should have anchored 30m from shore. Presumably we’d have to swim ashore.
Two of our party wanted to leave early so at 14:45 we came back into Cala en Porta to drop them off, have a bite to eat and then two of us intended to resume our boat trip.
At this point we had more issues. We don’t speak Spanish and the Irinsur chap spoke very little English. It seemed that once we came ashore at base we weren’t allowed back out and we’d also been reported for infringement by stopping at a different bay. He said it was on the rental contract. We have had the contract translated and can find nothing that says either of these things.
So much as we enjoyed the experience, if done again it would be with a different company.
