点评:We were traveling with a large group, touring the area in our vintage autos. So when we signed up to go the museum it was organized by our group and I didn't take the time to review the Rules & Regulations on the Age of Steam's website, which were ... a lot. Be prepared to sign a waiver and be shown a video a safety requirements before entering the roundhouse. I also wasn't aware of their policy of only allowing "certified" service dogs until we arrived. We volunteer with a service dog organization and travel with a puppy in training nearly everywhere we go to fully socialize the pup and expose him to novel experiences. We were denied access to the roundhouse, so my husband went on the tour while I stayed behind with the pup. Partly my fault for not checking ahead of the tour, but honestly this is only the second full-stop access denial we've had in several years of puppy raising. Usually it's an educational opportunity with the venue, but there was no one willing to have a discussion. The ADA does not require certification for service dogs and in the state of Ohio a service dog trainer is permitted public access with the dog in training. I'm disappointed to not have been able to join the tour, but also that we didn't have an opportunity to talk with staff about this particular restriction.
