点评：I had an amazing time at the castle. I went there by bus from wexford which went very smoothly. The staff where the nicest! They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Had a few nice chats. There's a really nice spacious but cosy visitors center. The ticket is really not that expensive and you get to see the museum, the gardens and a tour of the castle. The museum was really interesting, lots of old agricultural tools and information about the people that lived and took care of the estate. The gardens and the lake are very beautiful and there are peacocks just hanging around. They let you get really close and are really not bothered by the people.
I was there on a pretty calm day so I was the only one who signed up for the tour. So I got a private tour of the castle. It was gorgeous and the guide knew so much about everyone that lived there and all the history. After the tour I walked around the garden, past the old castle. Had a nice tea and cake and some souvenirs back at the visitors centre. I would 100% recommend this place. It's really beautiful and peaceful and has a very interesting history. And the people working there are the sweetest.
