We had a good driver and vehicle, however, the first place we requested on our itinerary was worlds view and the vehicle was not suitable to get up the road. The driver took us as far as he could before telling us we would have walk the rest of the way up the mountain. This would have been over a 4km trip in the heat of the day without proper footwear for the unplanned hike so we declined. This showed a total lack of local knowledge.No problem solving or apologies - they should have arranged a local tuk tuk like other visitors to the site. Our driver offered no general information on anything and a daily lack of information on itinerary for the day. Holidays Lanka assisted in securing train tickets which cost $20 and charged us $100. I have no problem paying a service fee but felt that was price gouging for a client who was already using them for other services. The final day itinerary was very poor and should have been split into two days. We had a hike up Adam’s Peak followed by a hike to the 9 arches bridge with no information on difficulty or time requirements for two people in their 60’s and 70’s. Immediately after this we took a 3 hour drive to the next destination. I emailed the company but received no response.
