点评：We have been on a fair few whisky tours from the big names to tiny independents and this is without question the best yet.
Starting with the location and architecture of the distillery itself. If you wanted an image of creativity and sustainability you have it right there. Outstanding visually and incredibly finished interior, I was mightily impressed of first sight.
We booked for the later tour at 3:30 and got a bite of late lunch first. The service was exceptional, I simply cannot fault it. Great advice about portion sizes and very helpful staff. When the food came there were a variety of flavours and textures for us all to be thrilled with our choices. Hummus was especially tasty and the haggis Bon Bon’s were a big hit too.
Our tour guide was John and he was phenomenal, spoke eloquently and passionately about the history of the distillery and how the local farmers were contributing to the processes with their produce as well as the orchard and it plans for the future. I particularly enjoyed the tasting throughout the tour, which was a first for us, rather than having to wait till the end. This made the experience feel a lot more personal and rewarding.
The whisky itself was outstanding making choosing which ones to buy a hard choice but with lots on offer in the shop we walked away very happy indeed.
