Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Bird Watching的点评
点评：My flight departure from Entebbe was delayed. Serendipity (and Google) led me to Shakul's Mabamba Swamp tours. It was a very special experience for me to visit the swamp with the friendly and knowledgeable guide and team. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this trip and managed to take some fantastic photographs of the scenery and birdlife, including 2 separate shoebill sightings (which I have never seen before), otters and a palm nut vulture.
The hike through Nikima forest to the lodge on the hill for lunch was pleasant and informative. The viewpoint on the hill gave a great perspective of the swamp and water channels.
The excursion is run by a small local business and is reasonably priced. They were very accommodating with times and schedules.
