I had prepaid for a hot air balloon ride in Bristol, which was eventually cancelled due to weather conditions (something I completely understand). Although I was initially informed that refunds are not issued unless an extra cancellation fee is paid. The team agreed (after a polite email exchange) to deduct that amount from the 200 GBP I had already paid and refund the remaining balance. However, more than a month has passed and I still haven’t received the refund. My recent emails asking for an update have also gone unanswered.
It’s disappointing to share this, as the communication was friendly at first, but the delay in issuing the refund and the lack of follow-up have left a very negative impression. I sincerely hope the company improves its reliability and communication, because the situation could have been handled much better.
Given that more than a month and half has passed without receiving the agreed refund and without any response to my messages, I am now considering taking further action through the appropriate legal channels.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
