A truly beautiful experience in Jouques 🇫🇷✨🎨

点评：Jean-Louis and his lovely wife Fiona welcomed me with such warmth and generosity into their charming village home in Jouques. From the very first evening, when they prepared a delicious French dinner for me, I felt immediately at home. ❣️
I particularly appreciated having access to my own little kitchen, which allowed me to prepare and savour some of the wonderful Provençal delicacies I discovered during my stay. 😋
The house is beautifully situated in the heart of the village. In the mornings, before my private art lessons, I could simply walk down into the village for a cappuccino, pick up something for lunch, and enjoy the friendly greetings of the local people. It was exactly the kind of authentic French village life I had been hoping for. ☕🥗🇫🇷
My mornings spent exploring the surrounding countryside with Jean-Louis were a real feast for the senses. In July, Provence was filled with the intoxicating fragrance of lavender, and being able to sit beside the lavender fields and sketch was an unforgettable experience. 💜✨🎨
As a painter myself, I was delighted to discover new artistic approaches and techniques, including the beautiful cold wax technique.
There was also something wonderfully nostalgic about sitting once again, more than forty years after my graphic design studies, at the edge of a little French village with my sketchbook — this time capturing the enchanting silhouette of Jouques. It brought a very special smile to my heart. ✍️🥰
My private lessons with Jean-Louis were not only artistically inspiring, but also a lovely and harmonious experience. His knowledge, curiosity and passion for the region made the week truly special.
And of course, a little lick from my AMORe 🐩 Mio, who was very happy to be part of the adventure! 😉

时隔四十多年后，我再次带着素描本坐在一座法国小村庄的边缘——这一次，我尽情描绘着茹克村迷人的剪影。这种体验实在带着一种美妙的怀旧气息啊。这让我心中涌起一股无比幸福的微笑。✍️🥰
我和让-路易斯的私人课程不仅在艺术上给我带来诸多启发，更是一段温馨又和谐的美好体验。他对当地地区的丰富了解、强烈的好奇心以及满腔热情，让那一周变得格外特别。
