点评:The large garden makes for a good walk. Lots of birds roam free (mostly varieties of chickens and ducks) but we also saw a peacock. If you visit in spring/summer you may get lucky and see the hens with their chicks. Super cute.
There are also some exotic birds in a few cages like lorikeets and indian ring necks. The cages unfortunately only shows the type of bird. It would have been very interesting to also learn a few facts about them like country of origin and species specific quirks. BTW, the garden also has no signage, which is a shame as we saw a few interesting looking trees and would have loved to know the type.
The garden paths are a bit steep and very uneven in places making it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. This is a shame and we had to cut short our visit because not everyone in our group could even start the walk on the steep lawn. It was made even worse by the previous day's rain.
If you are after a good walk with some fluffy poultry along the way, this is a good place to go, provided you do not have any mobility issues. I would not recommend this place for families with elder members or people with disabilities that impede walking. The lack of signage is a huge missed opportunity, so do not expect to learn anything about the birds or the garden while you are there (we had no internet signal so could not even look it up for ourselves)
