Dated, creepy and generally uncomfortable
日落探险乐园的点评
点评：We have just returned from Sundown a day early. We stayed in the wildacre lodge and paid £450 for a vip lodge. Our time was really odd and uncomfortable and we just decided to come home a day early. I had looked forward to the trip so much and was really disappointed. The biggest issue for me was how outdated and non-pc the place was, especially for kids growing up today. I found the weird animatronics freaky and so did my 3 year old, often running away from them of covering her eyes or ears. Many of the characters were depicted naked and we are not sure why. They were also so worn that many of them had missing paint on the eyes making them super creepy. The rides were terribly dull, even for a 3 year old. The staff were all miserable and no one was cheery or said hello.
At the village our lodge was okay but we had 2 teabags for our stay (most similar places have tea/coffee as standard we find). The radiator in the bathroom was leaking, the hot tub lights were broken, and the main double bed was absolutely horrendous. Springs so hard and digging in all night. We really just couldn’t take one more night of that! Kids beds were fine and their room was decorated beautifully. The blonde older lady on reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She really seemed like she didn’t want to be there.
Maybe it’s okay for a day trip but for 1-3 year olds only. Don’t bother staying and be prepared to feel mega uncomfortable.

也许这里适合一日游，但只适合1-3岁的孩子。千万别住，做好心理准备，你会感觉非常不舒服。
