点评:Upper Falls is an easy walk on a wide paved trail. It's designed for tourists, wheelchairs, older people and the less adventurous. But once you get to the observation area you have the choice to take the wooden stairway descending to a lower observation deck. Just remember you have to come back up those 52 stairs.
If that was not enough then one can drive another mile south to the parking area to access Lower Falls. This is a serious walk. It was a narrow section tangled with tree roots, a few sections going up and a couple going down. Littel of this is easy walking. IMO some type of hiking boot is needed. Hiking sticks are helpful. The last 20% is all downhill on loose soil and rock. At the end you reach an observation deck that's, guessing 1/3 of a mile from the falls. The hike was fun but the view is not stunning. It's 90% in the woods and quite pretty. Leaving the deck it's uphill for quite a distance. Take water and pace yourself. Along the way you'll cross a large stream, quite pretty. Review the trail map in the parking lot and pay attention to the trail markers or you can go the wrong way.
