15 years of loyalty ended by a distressing experience

点评：We have holidayed in Wroxham for many years and had never previously experienced anything like this.
Unfortunately, our stay at Summercraft became extremely distressing for our family. After children were incorrectly accused of throwing rocks at a summer vista (CCTV later showed cuddly toys bouncing on the ground and an open window), the atmosphere changed completely. Over the following days we experienced repeated accusations, threats of eviction, references to police involvement, and increasingly hostile interactions despite remaining calm and cooperative throughout.
I wasn’t actually staying at summer vista, I was in moorlands. My family booked both properties to be next to each other.
The concerns raised against us appeared to change repeatedly, including allegations regarding behaviour and booking details, despite the fact that guests had been openly checked in, paperwork signed, and no damage, or rule breaches had occurred.
What was most upsetting was the impact on the children, who became anxious and distressed during what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday.
We fully appreciate that holiday property owners need rules and boundaries, and we are respectful guests who have stayed in Norfolk many times without issue. My family started using summercraft 15 years ago when they were a significantly larger than they are now.
However, the level of surveillance, confrontation, and hostility we experienced made it impossible for us to relax or enjoy the remainder of the stay, and we ultimately chose to leave early to avoid further distress to the children.
In contrast, Riverside Rentals were extremely helpful and professional in assisting us with alternative accommodation at short notice, for which we were very grateful.
