Wonderful introduction to New Zealand

点评：I had such a wonderful time on this trip. New Zealand is a beautiful and interesting place to visit and this tour allowed me to see things and have experiences I never would have had on my own, especially as a solo traveler. The Māori culture day was a particular highlight, being invited into people’s homes and learning about their history.
This was the first organized tour I’ve been on and I was a little concerned about the group dynamic. It turned out to be great! Sharron was a fantastic guide and set the tone right from the start. We were a group of 20 including Sharron which felt very manageable. After brief introductions our first stop was a delicious family style meal where we started getting to know each other. From the very start there was a lot of laughter and fun. Everyday was a packed schedule and no one was ever late to the bus so we had the maximum amount of time at each of the stops.
From wine tasting on Waiheke Island, Hobiton, a walking tour of historic Oamaru, a boat trip on Milford Sound, and everything in between this was a fantastic introduction to New Zealand and I hope to return one day.
