维利甘度岛海滩的点评
点评：Can’t fault anything. It was fabulous! The staff are amazing, the food is delicious; so much choice and beautifully presented.
The excursions were well organised; we went snorkelling which was SO good; lots of turtles (my fave) and wonderful fish. You could also go and see whale sharks, and other sharks and rays were regular visitors.
Special mentions to Mohammed and Ammed in the dive centre. Very professional and checked on me regularly as I’m not a strong swimmer.
The villa was outstanding and Toufi looked after us and made it so comfortable; the bed decorations and little touches were very much appreciated.
The spa was perfection; our treatments were by Vesu and Trisha who were brilliant.
Would’ve loved to go every day!
All of the restaurant staff (too many to name!) and chefs were outstanding . . . . and the bar staff worked so hard pouring me my favourite cocktails! 🍸 Raffi, (bar) and Camilla (waitress) in Raalhu restaurant were fab, but can’t remember all the names of everyone in the other restaurants!
Sunil was one of the grounds men who had a wonderful smile for everyone every day. They all worked so hard keeping the island pristine.
It felt very exclusive, as it didn’t seem busy, but I believe it was 90% occupancy. You could be as sociable or unsociable as you wanted; there was entertainment in the main bar, but quite low key, which was lovely.
Last but not least, a special mention for our personal host, Minha, who was always available for any queries we had or when we needed a lift in the buggy! Always smiling and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Even messaged me to let me know when a group of stingrays were near our villa! 💕
We would love to return to our favourite destination. Wonderful memories to keep us going!
