Potentially a fun couple of hours for the right people at the right time
奥尔顿塔水上乐园的点评
点评：We booked here for my daughter’s 12th birthday family activity and she invited a friend, six of us in total, three adults and three children 9-12.
We paid £23 a ticket for 2.5hrs which is not a day out, but equally was enough time to experience everything once and begin to ask questions of ‘is that it?’ Parking is free which was a bonus. Waterworld just up the road parking costs but is overall better value IMO.
So we were booked for the 11am session on a Sunday in March and it was jammed full. Arriving twenty minutes beforehand it took a good thirty minutes to queue to get through the two turnstiles (the first sign of poor design for the number of customers). There’s three but one’s strictly entry, one exit and one accessible. You’ll need a 20p for a locker which just added to the disorderly queue.
There’s not enough changing space, and arguably not enough lockers and even less that actually lock securely. The shower situation was even more ill thought out with no more than ten! This area generally felt clean and looked after by the staff which must be a huge challenge.
The waterpark area is relatively small. For ten years plus you’ve got two/three flumes that’ll give the adrenaline rush they crave everything else is probably aimed more at toddler to ten years. Those two or three flumes you could easily be queuing (again) for thirty minutes plus each time. The outside flumes are very slow. The ‘rapids’ very busy and other than toddler climbing/water play areas that’s pretty much your lot.
I’d encourage the owners to have a good scout round picking up the discarded paper wristbands which have a habit of coming off and discarded on pool shelf edges.

水上乐园区域相对较小。对于十岁以上的孩子来说，只有两三个滑水道能让他们体验到渴望的刺激，其他设施可能更适合幼儿到十岁的孩子。那两三个滑水道每次都可能要排队半小时以上。室外滑水道速度很慢。“激流”区人很多，除了幼儿攀爬/戏水区之外，基本上就没什么可玩的了。
我建议业主好好巡视一下，捡拾那些经常脱落并被丢弃在泳池边缘的纸质手环。
