点评：Recently (april’26) during our visit to Kodaikanal we enjoyed our mystic morning walk among the clouds at the Coaker’s walk, near Kodaikanal Lake
Nestled along the misty slopes of the Palani Hills the Coaker’s Walk is one of the most iconic viewpoints in Kodaikanal.
This elevated pedestrian walkway offers breathtaking valley views, cloud-covered landscapes etc.
Irrespective of whether we are visiting with family or as a couple or as a travelling solo, the Coaker’s Walk promises to be a peaceful & stunning experience.
The nature enthusiasts will never miss this place due to its view and the indescribable ambience it offers.
This is a kilometre-long stretch or walkway.
This walkway was constructed in 1872 by Lieutenant Coaker on the steep mountain slope.
You can see an observatory located along the walkway.
It is said that on clear days, visitors can spot distant towns and enjoy a rare optical illusion known as the “Brachem phenomenon,” where objects appear magnified.
