Wonderful Site with Amazing Animals!

点评：We stayed for two nights with our friends, who had arrived a day before us. We were so fortunate to have a corner area for our two vehicles (motorhome and campervan) so it was very private and as we had a hedge and the wood on two sides, felt very immersed in nature.
As a camper, you are welcomed to walk through any open gates and doors. We spent a lot of time admiring the various cows, sheep, chickens, grouse, ducks and even a Harris hawk. Days were relaxed and we had a BBQ one afternoon. One evening, a couple of hot air balloons flew by and landed not far from the campsite. The sunsets were also absolutely gorgeous. At night we fell asleep to the lullaby of gently baa-ing sheep!
The staff were really helpful, sharing their knowledge of the animals when we asked any questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the woodland walk, especially early in the mornings when no one else was awake. It was so peaceful and beautiful and we had the best time with our lovely friends. None of us wanted to leave and if we didn’t have to go back to work, we would have definitely extended our stay.
Our friends have three dogs which were kept secure in an extended pen outside their motorhome so there were no issues with that at all.
An absolutely wonderful experience on a gorgeous working farm, we will be back!
