点评：We arrived on site for a 3 night stay in our Motorhome. Who knew when booked months previously that it would be the weekend storm Dave would hit the UK.
On our arrival we were met by Norman who greeted us warmly then explained the expected impact of the storm. Despite my request for a hard standing given the storm coming, he accommodated us and our friends in a caravan by clearing some farm vehicles and pitching us at the edge of a paddock. This turned out to be a great spot.
Shortly after setting up we joined other people in the barn bar where Norman and Ruth served up a great IPA, cider and wine which catered for all our tastes. We had a tour of the farm yard where we saw the various rare breeds then spent a pleasant Friday afternoon in the barn bar where stayed until we parted to get dinner. The facilities were good with 2 showers in the facility that were linked direct to the hot water system giving a really powerful shower. These were in close proximity to our pitch so that was a bonus. Throughout the weekend we can and went with Norman providing insight into the local area. We survived the storm and although we had to leave our friends in a decided to stay further. This is a great site, particularly if you love animals and a calm relaxed atmosphere.
