点评：I had the pleasure of experiencing Juma Art Tours’ 90-minute Woodstock street art tour, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I reached out to inquire about availability, Juma’s communication was exemplary—fast, friendly, and professional.
My guide, Shameellah, was outstanding and made me feel completely safe and looked after throughout our walk through Woodstock, which is an area that has undergone significant transformation. Her knowledge of the street art, the artists, and the community’s history was impressive, and her passion for the neighborhood truly shone through.
During the tour, I also met an talked to Juma himself, a talented artist who is deeply embedded in Cape Town’s art scene. It’s clear why he comes so highly recommended by other tour organizers - he’s well-known and respected throughout the community. The fact that he’s personally connected to many of the artists whose work adorns Woodstock’s walls adds an authentic dimension that you simply can’t get elsewhere.
The tour offered incredible and immersive cultural experience. I learned so much about how street art has transformed Woodstock from a once-dangerous area into a vibrant artistic hub, albeit still with its challenges! Every mural has a story, and Shameellah brought those stories to life. It also didn’t hurt that she was great fun and a great conversation partner!
