About half way to the dock our driver got on a two way and told the office when we would arrive. When we got there the office lady said "Sorry. The tour had to leave." She offered us the afternoon tour or thefull day tour, but that didn't work. She refunded our money but offered no help to find a replacement or substitute.
When we left the office, we saw the full day people from our ship waiting on the dock. Had their representative on the pier sent our group first, we would have made the departure.
Some other notes. They did send me a text asking if I was on my way. They should have known because they took our names at the pier. They need to improve their communication and their customer service style. If you come in in a cruise, make a special effort to let them know. And don't trust their dispatcher on the pierm
