Beautiful but challenging Trail. Highly recommend

点评：We really enjoyed this beautiful trail. We walked from Pascal Village to the start of the trail and on the way a dog came up to us and didn’t leave from our side for the rest of the day. All the locals know her and told us that she always takes people on the trail and back down. She eventually followed us all the way up and back down to beau vallon. Bring some food suitable for dogs or go buy some canned meat on the way like we did ;)
The trail is easy to follow and mostly also not very technically challenging. Where is gets tricky is close to the top. A very steep section which was destroyed by fallen trees (they have all been removed now as of 22. Jan 2026). The new path is very slippery right now. It will probably get better once a path is established and used more often.
Be extra careful on the way down especially! Good shoes are a must! If it has rained the day before it is probably not doable at the moment.
The view from the top is phenomenal. You can see both the west and east side of the island and the dense national park on the other side.
