Coconut Tree Hill的点评
点评：You will see this spot in every review of Sri Lanka and listed as a place to visit. Reality is not as you see in numerous posts. First getting there surprisingly difficult. It is in Mirissa but not sign posted. Our guide/driver did not know where it was so I used google maps to locate it and guide the driver. When we stopped and asked around no one seem to be familiar. Eventually we saw a path off the main road and a few steps along saw a sign.
The walk was about 10 mins or so and climbing up and in the heat that was a challenge. We eventually to to the spot and two things stuck out. First there was no charge to got to the hill and second there were lots of people. So good luck if you think you can get a photo of the hill with no crowd.
Was it worth it? No! You can get similar views all along the south coast driving up from Mirissa with lots of photo opportunities.
