Hyotan Island Cruise的点评
点评：I took this cruise with my wife and some friends on the night of my birthday. It was the last cruise of the night and luckily, just the four of us.
The cruise leaves from the mooring terminal by the Ryogoku Bridge, goes through the center of town along the Shinmachi River, then hooks around to the right and follows the Suketo River, past the castle park and eventually back to the Shinmachi River in a giant loop. Exactly 25 minutes from start to finish, and 800 yen per person for a ticket.
It departed at 7:40pm, the last departure of the evening.
The best thing about this cruise is that you can bring your own drinks; we stopped off at Family Mart on the way to the boat and grabbed a bag of ice and beers and had a grand old time.
NB - don't stand up on the boat. You can literally reach up and touch some of the bridges as you pass under them. Harrowing stuff!
