点评:I went with my family and was a little disappointed. After reading the reviews we drove quite a way to visit, when we arrvied the signage isn't great. We wanted to start at the cafe but when we found it, there were no menu items from the online menu at all. We had to leave to find food, then return which didn't start off the best!
There were no signs to tell you that you could purchase tickets to a demonstration, but as I had read it beforehand I asked about it - the demonstration was by far the best part of the whole museum and well worth the money to watch.
The signage in general was lacking; we almost missed the section on the other side as there was little to guide people around. I was also disappointed there wasn't that much about the formation of glass. How is it made? Show me the raw materials and the process to get to the end product. The other STEM areas were interesting but 'World of Glass' was missing the glass!
The gift shop was reasonably priced - the reception/gift shop staff and the man demonstrating were both friendly.
Overall if you are in the area it is worth popping by but perhaps not somewhere to get out of your way for.
