点评：We have passed this building many times, so, on a dreich Saturday afternoon in November, this was our first visit inside.
The occasion was a concert by the Kirkintilloch Brass Band.
The outside of the building looks a bit unprepossessing, but step through those entrance doors and you enter a different world. The foyer is tastefully decorated, with a reception desk/ticket office staffed by a couple of polite, helpful members of staff/volunteers.
Behind the reception desk is a small cafe area, serving soft drinks, and confectionery, staffed by the reception desk staff, double-tasking.
The theatre itself is small, with a capacity of around 250, exceptionally clean, and the seats are well appointed, well cushioned and very comfortable.
Because of it's size, the venue is very intimate, all seats have a great view of the stage, and excellent sound quality.
The Kirkintilloch Band itself put on an excellent concert and we left feeling exhilarated and uplifted.
We will definitely be returning, maybe to see a film next time
