Sweet Spot Between Glamping and Grunging! Highly Recommend!

点评：I had been wanting to explore more of Africa but there was no way I could afford the fancy glamping trips and I was much too old for the alternative backpacking/grungy travel style. Helen and Rock My Adventure was the absolute perfect in-between! The Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar adventure was the trip of a lifetime. Helen's personality is the very definition of infectious fun, the local guides she uses adore her, and by the end of the trip, you've made friends for life.
On a regular tour, you might visit a village and watch the requisite demonstrations and snap your photos, then get back on your bus. On a Rock My Adventure tour you visit a village, watch, wander, photograph, ride a bike, shop in a market, jump rope with some kids, eat a lunch prepared by the guide's wife in his small mud hut sitting on pillows, have dinner around the campfire outside your safari tents, then head back into the village for a late-night round of karaoke and line-dancing at the one and only tin-shack bar/nightclub/pub/hangout in town!
And the safaris! I couldn't imagine anything better than the Serengeti. But then I did a Rock MY Adventure trip to Botswana, and the Okavango Delta absolutely blew me away! I also went with Helen and RMA to Uganda to see the gorillas, and I'm heading back soon for west Africa and Ghana. I'm well and truly hooked on the Rock My Adventure style of travel and can not recommend Helen and RMA enough!
