Terrible experience great movie

点评：We have visited lux lounge a few times but this visit was by far the most challenging..lol.
Myself my partner and our nephew went to watch the Odyssey. We were the second group of patrons to arrive and staff were very welcoming, we brought drinks while we waited to order. They had run out of lemons for our coronas but that’s no biggie.
All the other patrons begun arriving and not long after they arrived staff begun taking their orders. After maybe 20min I informed a waiter we were ready to order. 10min later he returned. By now the adds had started in the theatre. We arrived just after 3pm, adds started 3.45pm.
Waiter finally took our order and acted quite flustered throughout. Very slow but we were patient with him as he seemed stressed.
Note: no cheese for cheese burgers.
We were asked how we would like food delivered, naturally popcorn snacks first, hot food during the movie and icecreams last.
Our nephew went to pay for his order.
Note: eftpos down. So the Waiter had to go sort the eftpos machine out.
Waiter was taking awhile to come back so we decided to order drinks to take into the theatre, we proceeded to the bar. Another 10min waiting for our drinks. By then our waiter had sorted my nephews payment and luckily we had cash to pay.
We finally got into the theatre and our nephews seat had been double booked. He informed the staff who said they would sort the food delivery out due to seat change and he was seated where no one was seated, of course by now all patrons were in the theatre. So we thought, late comers walked in and our nephew was sitting in their seats. Thankfully they were happy to move to other seats.
We were finally sorted then main movie started.
Well it doesn’t end there. Food that wasn’t our nephews was being delivered to him. He let them know where the patrons who ordered the food were sitting. More food for the other patrons. Finally our nephews order came out.
As for us 2 bowls of sweet potato fries came out first (not popcorn n snacks). Btw we only ordered 1 bowl of fries.
Half an hour later popcorn came out. Half an hour later our sliders came out. By now we were full from the 2 bowls of sweet potato fries and popcorn. Half an hour later more sliders and more popcorn we hadn’t ordered. Which I let them know so they took the sliders away and left the popcorn. Our 2 ice creams followed maybe 20min later then another 2 icecreams not long after we finished the first 2. Those were sent back as well.
Apparently the waiter had doubled up on our order lol lucky we had paid by cash or we probably would have been charged for the double up.
Anyway the movie was fabulous and thankfully over 3 hours long otherwise we might have still been sitting there waiting for our food..lol.
If we didn’t laugh about it all we may have cried lol or become a little upset.
We will go back and hopefully it will be a far better experience like the previous visits.

服务员过了好一会儿才回来，于是我们决定先点些饮料带进剧院，便前往吧台。我们又等了10分钟才拿到饮料。此时，服务员已经帮我侄子解决了付款问题，幸运的是我们身上有现金可以支付。
我们终于进入剧院，却发现我侄子的座位被重复预订了。他告知了工作人员，工作人员表示由于座位有变动，他们会安排好食物配送事宜。他坐的位置原本并没有人，当然此时所有的观众都已进入剧院了。于是我们想，应该是迟到的观众进来了，而我们的侄子坐在了他们的座位上。幸运的是，那些观众乐意换到其他座位上。
问题解决后，正片也正式开始了。

半小时后，爆米花上来了。又过了半小时，我们的迷你汉堡也上来了。这时，我们已经因为吃了两碗红薯薯条和爆米花而饱了。再过了半小时，又有更多我们并未点过的迷你汉堡和爆米花送了上来。我马上告诉了他们，于是他们把那些滑块装置拿走，只留下了爆米花。大概20分钟后，两份冰淇淋送来了；在我们吃完那两份后不久，又送来了另外两份。这些也都被我们退回去了。
显然服务员把我们的订单重复下单了，哈哈。幸好我们是用现金支付的，不然说不定还要为重复的订单付费呢。
不管怎样，电影精彩至极，谢天谢地时长超过了3个小时，不然我们可能还坐在那里等着上菜呢……哈哈。如果我们没有为此发笑，可能就会哭出来，或者有点心烦意乱了，哈哈。我们会再去的，希望这次的体验能像之前几次那样愉快。
