Bristol Motor Speedway的点评
点评：Our family was looking forward to the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway since it would be the first official Major League Baseball game in Tennessee. I had initially bought tickets when they went on sale in October 2024. MLB and BMS did a great job in communications before the event and sent multiple emails about logistics and information for the day.
We arrived around 3:30 pm on the day of the event to visit the fan fest area. It was fun but very crowded so we went inside. Merchandise lines were extremely long which could be expected but they ran out of many items which was disappointing. Food lines were very long also because there was light rain and it was dinner time for 90,000 people. We got inside for the start of the concert and it was still raining but lightly. It seemed to all work out as the rain stopped and the pregame ceremonies, national anthem and flyover were held. Unfortunately during the ceremonial first pitch it began raining very hard and the game never even started. After a nearly 3 hour rain delay the game was able to be started. However they couldn’t even finish the bottom of the first before heavy rain suspended the game.
We were able to come back the next day and the atmosphere was very relaxed. There were significantly less people but still a large crowd. You were able to bring in outside food as well. We stayed until the end and enjoying seeing the Braves win.
I really hate that it rained the first day. If not for that I think it would have been a much better experience. Lines would not have been so long if there had been something else to do instead of sheltering in the concourse. I was very impressed with the traffic flow both days. We were able to get in and out relatively easy. It was certainly an experience and I am glad we were there.
