Poplar Tree Garden Centre & Coffee Shop的点评
点评：Went for the fine china afternoon tea really don’t know what happened everything has gone downhill.
Had to wait over 1 hour for the afternoon tea to arrive at tables. We were told that we could pick the sandwich fillings prior to the day that didn’t happen.
Once afternoon tea had arrived you had to share it between 3 people! Which was absolutely ridiculous, as it’s usually served between 2 people.
They said the sandwiches were freshly made. No they weren’t by the time they arrived at the table the bread was hard as were the cheese or fruit scones.
Someone on the table ordered a child’s gardeners delight afternoon tea this was served stone cold! With pizza, crisps, carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, 2 sandwiches, chicken strips, I don’t know what child would eat their meal stone cold. The waitress said ‘it’s served like that’ there should be a warning with that.
The staff member who was meant to do the afternoon teas had gone home poorly, so they brought a staff member that wasn’t experienced to do afternoons teas in. Which was a shambles.
You had to ask for clotted cream and butter for your scones. Then in the end a few people ordered chips well when they arrived at the table they looked raw and pale in colour, didn’t look like they had been cooked long enough so they were wasted.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend going for a meal or afternoon tea here.
Everything just fell apart in the end. They knocked so much for the bill and refunded that person for the child’s afternoon tea, also we got some small bottles of processo free (we were meant to be £4 each for these!)

顾客还得主动索要凝脂奶油和黄油来配司康饼。后来有几个人点了薯条，但端上桌时发现薯条还是生的，颜色发白，显然没煮熟，最后只能扔掉。绝对不推荐在这里用餐或喝下午茶。
最后一切都乱套了。他们乱收了很多费用，后来又把那个孩子喝下午茶的费用退还给了顾客；我们还得到了几小瓶无酒精饮料（原本每瓶要收4英镑呢！）
