-The Bale Mountains National Park is an untouched gem that should be on every nature enthusiast's itinerary for Ethiopia.
-The wildlife viewing was a genuine highlight. We were incredibly lucky to spot an Ethiopian wolf, we saw also a numerous... Mountain nyala, Baboons, Rock Hyrax and Warthog (Phacochoerus Africanus).
The trek itself was challenging due to the altitude and cold nights (temperatures can drop below freezing), but our support team made it manageable and comfortable with excellent alpine tents and delicious, hearty food cooked right at the campsite. The tranquility and sheer beauty of the place, far from the hustle of cities, left a lasting impression.
