Lynton Toy Museum and Shop的点评
点评：This is a little gem of a toy museum especially for the Gen Xers out there for whom it contains almost the perfect childhood wishlist of toys. Having said that, our Gen Z son also found it fascinating. I revisited my childhood yearnings for amazing toys like Sindy’s 3 storey house which was always beyond reach, and rediscovered other favourites that made it into Father Christmas’s sack such as Fuzzy Felts, Etch-a-Sketch etc. There were early electronic devices that my husband recalled and my son tracked the evolution of Lego.
There were retro and vintage toys for sale in the small shop, too.
The museum is a short (5 minute) walk away from the main shops of Lynton but it’s on the flat bit at the top of the village and well worth diverting for for a little slice of pure childhood nostalgia. It was a bargain at £2 each.
