Super little trip with great staff! Family and dog friendly!

点评：We had a super time on the Railway with our dog! It was the first visit for her (she s a nervous rescue dog who isn't keen on other 4 pawed pals) so we took her on the open sided carriage. It took a few minutes for her to settle with all the motion and noise, but she did it!
The volunteer staff here are super! We bought great coffee and delicious sausage rolls at the lovely cafe - again, with the loveliest staff.
The ride takes you through beautiful countryside to Slaggyford, where wd stopped for around 30 minutes.
The platform at Slaggyford (what a name!) is super pretty and we took loads of photos. Good facilities: a dining carriage, toilets and a seasonal ice cream shop. After a short dog walk, we hoped on for the return journey.
Highly recommended outing for everyone!
