A Lovely Beach for Walking and Relaxing

点评：We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Bali, and the section of Sanur Beach in front of the resort was beautifully maintained. We were impressed to see staff working hard every day to keep the beach clean, including collecting and burying washed-up seaweed so the shoreline remained neat and inviting. It was clear that a great deal of care goes into maintaining the beachfront.
One of the highlights for us was the beachfront boardwalk. We walked along it every day, and the beach was attractive the entire way, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and resorts to enjoy along the shoreline. While I wouldn't compare it to Australia's spectacular beaches, it was still a lovely, clean and relaxing place to spend time.
The beach itself is fairly narrow at high tide, and the sand is a little coarser than the soft white sand you'll find in some other parts of Bali. The water looked clean during our visit, although we personally chose not to swim after reading mixed reports online about water quality in the area. Instead, we enjoyed relaxing on the beachfront sun loungers, strolling along the boardwalk and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere.
If you're looking for crashing surf and long stretches of soft sand, Sanur may not be the place for you. But if you enjoy gentle walks, a relaxed beachfront atmosphere and easy access to cafés, restaurants and resorts, it's a wonderful destination and one we thoroughly enjoyed.
