点评:The Plains of Abraham Park are an historic area; the site of two battles between the British and the French in 1759 and 1760. The park was established in 1908 to commemorate the site, as part of the Battlefields Park, and to prevent further over development. The plains are named after Abraham Martin, a fisherman and river pilot. Martin moved to Quebec City in 1635 with his wife and received 32 acres of land from the Company of New France, which he farmed. The park, which is much smaller now, currently an area approximately 1.5 miles long by half a mile wide, extends from the Citadel of Quebec and the walls of Quebec City, along a flat ridge above the Saint Lawrence River, and forms an urban park within Quebec City. The park is free and has become a green space for hosting festivals, and just being a spot for relaxing and picnicking.
Three of the four Martello Towers, built between 1808 and 1812, still stand. They were round observation towers and had cannons positioned on top, which were capable of firing in all directions.

建于1808年至1812年间的四座马泰罗塔中,有三座至今仍然屹立。它们是圆形瞭望塔,塔顶装有大炮,可以向各个方向射击。
