The most beautiful hotel in the world.

点评：I can honestly say, this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s shockingly, stunningly beautiful. My wife, 9 year old son and I stayed in the Camelia room, which is huge and just as gorgeously designed and decorated as the rest of the hotel.
The old monastery has thick stone walls which keep the place cool even in the middle of Summer. The antiqued paint everywhere gives the impression of centuries old design, but with modern conveniences. The owners and staff at the hotel could not be nicer. The service is wonderful - the room was made up for us while we were enjoying their sumptuous breakfast each morning. And the breakfast includes delicious fruits direct from their gardens.
We spent one morning walking around their gardens - it’s absolutely stunning. There is a pool tucked in there, but it looked more like a fairy tale than something you could use.
The only criticisms I have of the room are minor ones of a practical nature. The hand towels were far away from the sink. There are not enough hooks for wet towels. The windows don’t stay up to allow air to come in - we had to prop them open with items we found in the room.
One issue that did cause difficulty every day was the driving and parking situation. The hotel is very remote (which in itself is not an issue). But the tiny country lane allows a single vehicle to pass between the brick walls, and they have the tiniest of cobbled bridges across the stream that leads to the hotel entrance. It is easy to get stuck. And there are precisely zero parking spaces. God forbid this hotel gets more popular - I cannot imagine where people would have to leave their cars. You may have to park back on the road somewhere and walk the last quarter of a mile.
None of this takes away from the incredible experience we had staying at the hotel. When we come back to this area I will definitely stay here again.

每天都会给我们带来麻烦的一个问题是开车和停车。这家酒店位置非常偏僻（这一点本身倒不是问题）。不过，这条极小的小路只能容一辆车在两侧的砖墙间通行，河上还有一座极小的鹅卵石桥，通向酒店入口。车辆很容易陷入困境无法动弹。而且这里根本没有任何停车位。但愿这家酒店别再受欢迎起来了——我真想象不出人们得把车停在哪里。说不定你得把车停在远处的马路上，然后步行四分之一英里才能到达酒店。这些都不会减损我们在这家酒店入住时的美妙体验。下次再来这一地区时，我一定会再次选择这里下榻。
