点评:We booked a birthday party for my son’s 12th. Online booking was easy to navigate. I booked the Epic package, which advertises a room, 2 hours (1 for play and 1 for food). Paid a $70 deposit at the time of booking.
Communication prior to the event was good. They recommend you show up 30 min before your reservation time.
Day of we arrived at 3:30 for our 4pm reservation and checked everyone in. I paid the remainder of the balance. They asked me if I wanted to pay the tip now or after the party. Choose to pay upfront. The employee turned the screen toward me and they had pre-suggested amounts on the screen. I added a 20% tip which came to $70. That seemed steep to me but I didn’t know what was involved with service. In hindsight I should have paid the tip at the end of the party.
The host pointed to an upstairs area and said your room is upstairs. They didn’t take us to the “room” so we had no idea where our section was. There’s not actually a room. It’s an open space with a bunch of tables right next to each other. The floor had spills and trash laying around. The table coverings had holes in them. It looked a hot mess. We just took 2 tables…still didn’t know where we were supposed to be.
We had a few kids show up at 4:30. They were trying to turn them away because the park was closing at 6pm for a private party. This was the first time we were informed the park would be closing 3 hours early. I was trying to work it out so the kids could stay but in the end they left.
Around 5:30 after no service, no check-in and no food or drinks, I went down to speak to the manager. I informed that we hadn’t had any service.
The next day I saw a charge on my card for the kids who showed up late and did not stay (an addt’l $300+). I’ve reached out to their customer service email and have called and still waiting for a response. Overall from a parent perspective, a terrible experience. Overpriced, non-existent service, dirty facilities and then being charged over $700 for 11 kids/2 hours of play time.
