A trip of a lifetime in Madagascar with Tour Guide Lovemada

点评：We highly recommend Tour Guide Lovemada. From the very beginning, when organizing our trip, Arsene was always very responsive. He created an itinerary based on the places we wanted to see and set us up with a fantastic guide who is also his cousin (thank you Shetra!). We liked it that this is a family-owned business and the money goes toward a good cause. Our guide Shetra was always there for us, and answered any questions we had about Malagasy culture and traditions. After the tour, we felt like close friends. Shetra always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and doing well. We enjoyed the extra touches - for example, while we waited to visit one of the palaces in Antananarivo, he taught us how to play a Malagasy game called Fanorona.
Our guide Shetra was an expert driver despite the sometimes difficult terrain, and we appreciated having a four-wheel drive vehicle. He also always kept a watch on our belongings when we left the vehicle to shop for souvenirs for example.
Shetra also made sure to stop to show us unique places such as a silk factory and an aluminum art foundry. And in the national parks, we enjoyed the night walk to see nocturnal creatures as well as the day hikes with expert guides.
We enjoyed the biodiversity, the stunning landscapes and the kindhearted people of Madagascar, and we certainly had the trip of a lifetime.
