点评：Wow wow and wow- my husband and I did the four day west coast wilderness ride. The stand out for us was easily the welcoming nature of the people at the Hokitika cycle journeys. As soon as we arrived they were genuinely welcoming and it was clear that they loved sharing their love of bike riding and their love of their surrounding nature and community with us. We even rode through torrential rain and winds but could honestly say it was awesome inspiring to see the ruggedness of the nature from a bike. Riding through the rainforests when it was raining really bought out the beauty. We loved the Hokitika guided tour with our guide who had a huge amount of lived knowledge of the local environment and our drivers who kept us informed of the local areas - we were even escorted by the driver through the beginning part of the trail to make sure we were safe on the road part! We felt very spoilt by everyone at Cycle Journeys. Everything was seamless right through to Greymouth where we were expected by lovely staff and delivered right through to the railway station. They told us each day what we needed to know and then at the end of the day what was happening next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. Cycle journeys made the trip so easy - a company with real local people whose warmth and helpfulness has a lovely personal touch which is what you want when you are travelling to overseas destinations. It ended up being more than just a “bike holiday” for us in the end - thanks to the people at Cycle Journeys. We would definitely recommend them.
