Climbing Kilimanjaro的点评
点评：I was not sure what to expect, since this was the first time for me climbing a pretty big mountain. My first thought was that the fee was a bit steep, but once I lived through the week on the mountain I instead started to think how cheap it was considering everything we got. Firstly, they waited for us at the airport, picked us up, carried our luggage, drove us directly to a very nice hotel, where the hotel staff took the luggage directly from them to our room. The day after we had the breifing about the trip and double-checked all our gear, if anything was missing they went out and got it straight away. The service, both with our questions online through Whatsapp, and the questions we had in person was always answered quickly and kindly. Once we got on the bus to the mountain they had everything planned and up on the mountain the guides were all knowledgable whenever we had a question regarding a plant, a tree or an animal. Big shoutout to Tumaini which was our head-guide, he managed to stay very professional yet very personal and friendly throughout the whole trip, he also motivated my mom (age 65) to continue once we hit the first peak, so that we both made it all the way to the top.
Just to make sure I also talked to porters and staff, they were honest in their opinion and they all said Climbing Kilimanjaro was the best company out there, all porters get real food and they all get paid. Many of them had been with all of the companies making the hike and they all said the same thing - Climbing Kilimanjaro treats their staff the best.
I would highly recommend this company for anyone going there. You will not be dissatisfied.
