so if youre like me and know nothing about safari but want to go, this may help. i was overwhelmed when i started to research this. so many companies/options. almost to the point of not doing it because it was so confusing and , well, you eventually need to trust someone half way around the world.
Thomas at Safari Soles turned out to be a wonderful planner. from answering the many questions early to the multiple changes until we had a plan hammered out , to looking after details while there, couldnt have asked for better.
Our guide Innocent looked after my wife and I during safari perfectly, nothing but praise for his service. We spent 6 days on game drives Tarangire, Ngorongoro, southern (migration) and central Serengeti. we saw so many animals and landscapes, , learned a ton about so much.
We stayed in permanent tent camps which were nice and were treated good. on these, some are single and some can be duplex style. in these you WILL hear your neighbor, especially if they are up leaving at 5:30 am. A piece of canvas separates you. we didnt sweat it but some may have been bothered.
Even the trips between parks were very interesting. anything you asked, Innocent was well versed. Thomas arranged our flight from Seronera to Zanzibar at the end and all the transfers and all went well there too.

我们住在舒适的永久性帐篷营地，服务也很好。有些营地是单人间，有些则是双人间。在这些帐篷里，你肯定会听到邻居的声音，尤其如果他们早上5:30就起床出门的话。你们之间只隔着一块帆布。我们倒是不介意，但有些人可能会觉得吵。
就连公园之间的行程也很有趣。无论你问什么，伊诺森特都了如指掌。托马斯帮我们安排了从塞罗内拉到桑给巴尔的航班，以及所有的接送服务，一切都很顺利。
