Our group of 12 just completed the UNESCO Tour with Cycle Albania, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The scenery, food, culture, and warm hospitality of the Albanian people were unforgettable—but what truly made this trip extraordinary were our guides, Junid and Tani.
Junid, our lead guide, brought so much more than navigation. He shared a wealth of knowledge on history, politics, religion, farming, food, and daily life, keeping us engaged and laughing every mile of the way.
Behind the scenes, Tani was the quiet powerhouse - mechanic, support crew, and problem-solver always ensuring every detail was flawless. His contagious smile and tireless work made everything run seamlessly. Together, they went above and beyond: delivering meals, clearing plates, keeping drinks topped up, lining up bikes, tucking helmets into panniers when rain surprised us, wiping down bikes, and handling countless things we never even noticed. Always with care, always with generosity.
When Junid was briefly sidelined with a stomach bug, Tani stepped into the lead role with ease, while Junid still provided support. Their teamwork was effortless, their dedication remarkable.
I’ve organized many international trips, and without question, Junid and Tani are the most professional and thoughtful guides I’ve ever worked with. From hotel check-ins and perfectly tuned bikes each morning, to answering every question with patience and charm, they anticipated our needs before we even thought of them.
We are sad to say farewell, but deeply grateful. Junid and Tani didn’t just guide a trip—they crafted an experience we’ll carry with us forever.
