Wiggins Cemetery的点评
点评：Hey to anyone that might read this or come by it in any way. My papaw's name was Ray Wiggins. I'll come back and make changes if I need to make a fix but I believe he grew up here until they were asked to leave during the once the law was finally put into place in 1940. So that would make my grandfather 12-15 at the time and then was drafted or enlisted I always forget which considering the history of the area. He fought at Iwo Jima during WWII along with a couple of my great uncles who would have been in France. They also could have already been in WWI not entirely sure! Some of the Wiggins stayed in Bryson, were already up towards hickory NC, Asheville, and Waynesville. My grandfather ended up in Robbinsville near/on Cherokee land. (you can find the road on Google maps, just type in wiggins rd robbinsville NC or massey branch) The sign itself is in English and Cherokee Syllables.
