During our trip to Macedonia, our license plate was stolen, and the car rental company decided to charge us €430 for something that was not our responsibility, even though we had purchased the TOP PROTECTION insurance, which is supposed to cover exactly this kind of incident. In reality, it covers nothing. On top of that, they still haven’t returned the €500 deposit they hold at the beginning, and no one provides any explanation. The employee, whose name is Стефан Димитров (Stefan Dimitrov), treated us terribly—he ignored us, mocked us, acted arrogantly, and eventually kicked us out without any explanation or solution. Shortly after, we discovered that he had already charged the €430 as we were leaving. In summary: €430 charged unfairly, useless insurance, €500 deposit still blocked, and appalling customer service. We will never rent from this company again and share this so that no one else goes through the same situation.
