A Bucket List Ecotour - Charco Azul/Poza de las Mujeras/Playa Golondrinas - Must Go!

点评：I've been fortunate to travel a lot for work & pleasure across Central America, US, Europe, and Africa, and prefer to take ecotours when I can to learn about local environments, flora & fauna. The tour provided by Naturhabitat - of the Charco Azul, Poza de las Mujeras, and Playa Golondrinas areas - is one of the most memorable & enjoyable ecotours I've taken in my life and was the highlight of my family's trip to Puerto Rico.
The tour, led by Cruz and Joseph, had everything our blended group of adults & teenage boys wanted in adventure, excitement, challenge, and learning. We hiked rocky inclines & forest trails, jumped off moderate cliffs into refreshing river pools, traversed boulders to find waterfalls, and journeyed thru mangrove marshes to be on isolated beaches far from access roads. All of us felt excitement at various moments in the tour! For myself, a highlight was swimming in a river cave in the Charco Azul area while bats were flying above me.
Furthermore, the hospitality provided by Cruz & the Naturhabitat team was top-notch! It allowed all of us to simply focus on our new experiences as 1st time travelers to PR. I can't thank Naturhabitat enough for the care and attention to details they provided. It has set a core memory our family will remember for years to come.
