点评：We booked a day tour through our homestay for jungle hiking and bamboo rafting and had the absolute pleasure of having Ping as our guide.
He picked us up at the homestay, and we hiked through the jungle while Ping explained the local plants, showed us how to imitate animal calls using a leaf, and taught us some fun jungle games. When we reached the river, we continued downstream on a bamboo raft.
Ping is an amazing teacher and a genuinely warm, friendly person. In the evening, we visited him in his village, where everyone welcomed us warmly. We were lucky enough to spend the evening there as the family was celebrating Ping’s sister’s wedding the following day.
It was an unforgettable experience, and as soon as we return to Thailand, we will definitely book a 2- or 3-day tour to learn more about the jungle and the local culture in this beautiful part of the country.
I highly recommend booking these tours and directly through them. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to spend with Ping 👍👍
