点评：We visited the Little Muntjac for an Afternoon tea this afternoon. The service was slow. We waited half an hour from sitting down to our afternoon tea being delivered baring in mind it was pre booked. The lady did apologise and was polite, however when we arrived, we were told to pick a table (not taken to one) after I had booked and was asked if we wanted a drink of which one of us had a coffee and the other, as we had booked a sparking afternoon tea with Prosecco, waited for that. There was no offer of any refills of coffee or tea throughout the afternoon and for me, I have never experienced this during any afternoon tea I have had. The afternoon tea itself was ok. The sandwiches were basic, ham, cheese and pickle, Turkey, soft cheese and cucumber but presented well. There was a small pork pie each, a spicy meatball thing and 2 small cakes with a scone each and a few fresh strawberries/salad bits. The presentation was lovely but unfortunately the offerings were not of a high standard for the price (£35 PP for a sparkling afternoon tea).
Above all, the smell of the place was the thing that got to me the most. It was a smell of grease and whilst I understand the place serves breakfasts and is an open kitchen, it just stank of stale grease to the point that when we returned home my husband commented that we smelt like a deep fat fryer and both of us had to have a shower and change our clothes. Not what you want when you take your mum out for what I thought was a special afternoon tea to celebrate how amazing she is. Very disappointed ️

最让我难以忍受的是店里的气味。一股浓重的油烟味扑面而来。我知道这家店也供应早餐，而且是开放式厨房，但那股陈腐的油烟味实在太重了，以至于我们回家后，我丈夫都说我们身上像个油炸锅，我们俩都不得不去洗个澡，换身衣服。带妈妈出去享用下午茶，本以为是为她庆祝，结果却如此令人失望。非常失望！
