点评：The Hiding Place in Melksham is a brilliant little micropub and a real gem for anyone who enjoys good beer and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Tucked away just off the High Street, it has a cosy, welcoming feel that makes it very easy to settle in and stay for a while.
The real highlight is the fantastic selection of craft beers, local ales and ciders. The choice changes regularly, so there’s always something new to try, and the quality is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about what they serve and are always happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to go for.
Although it’s primarily about the drinks, there are also some great bar snacks available, including local cheeses, charcuterie and other nibbles that pair perfectly with the beer.
What really makes The Hiding Place special is the atmosphere. It’s friendly, relaxed and has a great community feel, with locals and visitors chatting easily. If you enjoy proper micropubs with character, great drinks and welcoming service, this place is well worth a visit.
