小樽运河的点评
点评：A port town just 40 minutes by JR rapid from Sapporo Station. I departed super early in the morning and spent one full day at this former fishing hub on exploring many interesing spots: the former Temiya Railway, Otaru Music Box Museum, Bank of Japan Museum, Stained Glass Museum, Sakaimachi Street where craft shops and restaurants/cafes are located, Wagyu sushi/sashimi take away stores, the Otaru canal is a crowded photoshooting spot.
Sankaku Ichiba Market, a fresh seafood market that locates bedside the Otaru JR Station, is a famous dining hub. Local fresh seafood are served in small family owned restaurants, and local groceries & produces are sold at hundreds of tiny stores. I ordered the Otaru signature uni rice bowl, otoro & botan shrimp sashimi at Ajidokoro Takeda (武田鮮魚店) restaurant, where self ticketing booth was placed at the entrance. Be preapred for a 45-60 minues queue for each seating throughout its business hours 0700 - 1700. Takinami Shokudo (滝波食堂) is another renowed seafood restaurant locates next to Ajidokoro, both of them serve the same seafood menu and it's just a luck which restaurant offers a faster seating! Cash payment is highly recommended inside this market.
Walked down to the Otaru Canal to explore Kitaichi Glass Museum, Otaru Art Base (paid admission), canal boat ride, local cuisines, Hokkaido ice-cream etc. Fresh air
surrounds the entire port city that offers a tranquill atmosphere during my visit. A memorable experience not to be missed outside Sapporo city!

步行前往小樽运河，参观了北市玻璃博物馆、小樽艺术基地（需购票入场）、运河游船、当地美食、北海道冰淇淋等等。清新的空气环绕着整个港口城市，在我游览期间营造出宁静祥和的氛围。这是札幌市外不容错过的难忘体验！
